<aside> 🌻 Welcome! My name is Klara Veer. I am a L2 IFS practitioner* and coach, trained by the IFS Institute US and Somatic Experiencing International®(currently completing my certification under supervision). Most of my clients are creative people from all walks of life. A look around my website and my reviews should give you a good feel for who I am, but I will start by sharing that I love what I do.

Are we a good match?

Probably you’re on this site wondering whether I can help you.

During a session with me, in a relaxed and informal way, you will be invited to welcome all emotions, discover meanings and make better sense of your experiences. You will meet yourself (your Inner Parts) with more kindness, tenderness and compassion, and that will strengthen your inner connection and will deepen your connections with others.

I'm passionate about supporting people on their personal growth journeys*. After more than a decade of doing my own inner work (safely guided in a therapeutical setting), I felt a strong calling to expand my expertise and share with others the transformative gifts I'd received. This led me to embark on a beautiful journey of learning and expansion—one for which I feel immensely grateful.

IFS changed my life for good and offered me the joy and privilege to discover (…or rather remember) that each and every person has the capacity to tap into their own Self energy, this eternal source of compassion and loving kindness. I work with clients who are also eager to reconnect to the wisdom of their bodies and their innate self-energy and power.

****Throughout my personal journey, I've worked with therapists and coaches trained in diverse modalities that helped me explore and connect with different parts of myself: Psychodynamic therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Hakomi, Internal Family Systems, Compassionate Inquiry, Feldenkreis, The Wheel of Consent, Nonviolent Communication, Neuro-affective touch, Intuitive Drawing Art-therapy and Psychodrama, CBT and ACT. The moment I fell into IFS by accident, I said to myself: ā€œoh, yes, here it is, THIS is the method that I fully resonate with.

Prior to my professional reconversion, I’ve dedicated myself to creating spaces that sustain harmonious human connections - working as an architect and university teacher. Ever since the early '80s, my favorite activity has been Play. I transform shrunken wool-pullovers into toys, based on children's drawings. I craft silver jewelry from bike hex-keys and create paper-cut models to teach kids about our local architectural heritage. Some people call these "product design."

The journey of being human is so fascinating to me!

** Convinced that a practitioner can only take a client as far as they themselves have travelled, I ā€œwalk the talkā€ and will continue to do so: 250+ hrs IFS and 85+ hrs SEā„¢ sessions with certified trauma-informed professionals. Please note, I am not a clinical psychologist or psychotherapist.*

In all, there were three things: the certainty one is always beginning, the certainty one must go further, and the certainty that one will be interrupted before finishing.

From the interruptions, to make a new path, from falling, a dance step, from fear, a ladder from dream, a bridge, from search...the Encounter.

— Fernando Pessoa (translated by Cecilia Ramon and Sheila Packa)

What motivates me

I am a strong believer in the power of humanistic education and have been an academic teacher for almost a decade, mentoring students in architectural design. Social justice, privilege, integrity are some of the topics that I have been interested about. And I want to contribute to building a world in which every person is truly valued, encouraged and supported to thrive. My approach is informed by somatic parts work, conscious intimacy, authentic relating and inherited trans-generational trauma healing practices.

The following people and their teachings have been significantlyĀ influential in my life**:** Betty Martin, Richard Schwartz, Janina Fisher, Ruth Cohn, Peter Levine, Pete Walker, Bessel van der Kolk, Deb Dana, Linda Thai, Emily Nagoski. I’m very grateful for having had the chance to meet and learn directly from most of these luminaires.

I live in Cluj, Romania. When I'm not working, I love spending time with my friends - travelling, chatting in the sun, dancing contact improv, taking long forest baths, swimming or simply purring at life, just like my furry catsšŸˆā€ā¬›

TRAININGS, SPECIALISED COURSES, WORKSHOPS

I beg you, to have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and to try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don’t search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer.
